Playing Ketchup – Wise Words

Ketchup With UsThe sirens of the internet, Ms Mel and ODNT, have started their own prompt:
‘KETCHUP WITH US’ – Prompt#1

Tell us in 57 words or less the best advice you ever received from someone older than you that you admire.

_______________

“Walk into an elephant’s cage – you’re gonna step in shit.”
–Wise words from my father. I don’t recall what brought that on, but it is good advice. Sometimes, it’s perfectly clear what the situation is, so if you decide to pursue it anyway, don’t be too surprised when nature takes its course.
