Trifextra 51: The Fittest to Survive

We want you to choose one of the pictures below and give us a 33-word response to it. Your responses will be judged by the community this weekend. If you use the photo on your blog, you must include the attached accreditation (with active links)

I was inspired by this one:

Ketchup With Us #10: Commuticating

Ms Mel and ODNT know that they are the bright spots of everyone’s day, but what about those drastically less awesome aspects of your routine? In 57 words or less, tell us about WHO (or WHAT) you go head to head with every day. Ketchup With Us

_______________

Monday through Friday, I face NYC’s bus and subway system. Besides the MTA’s chaotic schedule, commuters stalk entire cars for empty seats, pouncing like vultures playing ‘musical carrion’. I am unsympathetic to sick passengers delaying my commute, people asking for help, and kids who should be in class dancing around for tips. Still… I’m a good person.

3 Line Cinema

This is actually CheekyDiva’s prompt dealie, so it’s her thing really, this is just a way I can keep inspired, selflessly promote others while shamelessly promoting myself. And yes I would randomly promote you too, just because you are neato. Yes, You too!

Anyway the topic is movies, the technique is Haiku, and the object is for you to care enough to guess the movie.

1. My hand is possessed?!
Chainsawed it off; now can’t read
A Farewell to Arms

2. Days shooting mynocks
Who knew ‘wasting time with friends’
Would pay off some day?!

3. A chick with three boobs?!
And spy games on Mars…who cares!
A chick with three boobs!!

4. A futile journey
Past bikers, Large Marge, ‘pet’ snakes…
There was no basement!

5. That Jeff Goldblum flick
A catch-phrase mumbling genius…
No, the other one.

Trifextra 49: A Slice of Life

On to the weekend challenge. As you’ll recall from your elementary science class days, the structure of the earth can be divided most simply into three sections: core, mantle, crust. Here’s a diagram.

Well looking at the diagram inspired me…well that, and another photo.

___________

Inside this circle, a gummy coagulation mixes with a hot red liquid (let it cool first!), with a crusty edge. Every culture has ideas for toppings/ enjoyment.

Basically, Earth is a giant pizza!

Ketchup With Us: Resolution #9

Ms Mel and ODNT want you to start your year off right! In 57 words or less, tell us about the New Year’s resolution you WANT to make but KNOW you’ll break. Ketchup With Us

Considering the recent shopping (and returning) I have done lately, this is pretty much my goal.

_____

I resolve to participate in those feedback dealies on my receipts on time, in order to give my invaluable feedback / insight regarding my shopping experience, and not because of the contest/ discount. I also resolve to have realistic expectations on winning the cash prize, and will make sure to redeem the discount before the expiration date.
